A Midsummer Night’s Dream now running until 2 August
A Midsummer Night’s Dream, re-imagined for everyone aged 6 and over has now opened and runs until 2 August. Set in a neglected Victorian nursery, director Dominic Leclerc’s new production will centre round a cobwebby toy box that is ready to burst open to tell Shakespeare’s well-loved story in way that children will enjoy and can play an active part in. It will be a production full of humour, energy and imagination. The costumes and props reflect the production’s setting wonderfully as the actors will be transformed into tin soldiers, clowns and ballerinas - every child in the audience is sure to have a favourite.
