Rehearsals have begun for Romeo and Juliet and Twelfth Night!
The anticipation surrounding the Open Air Theatre’s Shakespeare productions for 2008 is mounting as the actors have come to Regent's Park to start rehearsing. They include Janie Dee (winner of the Olivier, London Evening Standard and Critics' Circle Theatre Best Actress Awards her role in Comic Potential at the Lyric Theatre) and Clive Rowe (Olivier Award winner for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical for his role in Guys and Dolls, National Theatre). We are also welcoming rising stars Nicholas Shaw (The Merchant Of Venice, Globe Theatre) and Laura Donelly (Sugar Rush, Channel 4) who will be taking the roles of our enraptured young lovers in Romeo and Juliet.
