Shakespeare for children comes to the Open Air Theatre!
This year we are thrilled to be staging a very special version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream which will be completely re-worked for a young audience. Director Dominic Leclerc will transform this classic play by creating a visually-striking, fast-paced 80-minute production using Shakespeare’s original language and text, suitable for everyone aged 6 and over. It will open with an interactive prologue to really get the audience excited about what’s to come before the action kicks off. Kids will love the abundance of movement, comedy and interaction in this new interpretation. If your children have never seen a Shakespeare production before then this is the perfect place to start!
