Further casting announced for Lerner and Loewe’s Gigi.
BAFTA-winning actress Linda Thorson will be taking the role of Alicia in Timothy Sheader’s production of Lerner and Loewe’s Gigi. Linda is well known for her roles as Tara King in The Avengers, Rosemary Sinclair in Emmerdale and, more recently, as Hesther in the UK tour of Equus alongside Simon Callow. Also joining the cast will be Thomas Borchert, a leading light in German musical theatre. Thomas, who will be playing Gaston, is best known for starring as the phantom in the 20th Anniversary production of The Phantom Of The Opera and as Count von Krolock in Roman Polanski’s Dance Of The Vampires. Linda and Thomas will be joining Topol as Honore, Millicent Martin as Mamita and Lisa O’Hare as Gigi.
