Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre is delighted to offer the prize of a Folio Society edition of To Kill a Mockingbird to an individual who has visited the theatre this season. With beautiful drawings by Aafke Brouwer and bound in full cloth, this edition is the most perfect way to read Harper Lee’s much loved classic.

Exclusively for 18 to 25s, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre will host its first BREEZE networking event of the season tonight for To Kill a Mockingbird.

As well as watching the production, attendees will meet on the picnic lawn before the performance to meet other members of the scheme and enjoy a free pre-show drink.

Due to popular demand, the theatre is also pleased to announce that a limited number of tickets have just been released for BREEZE members to see Pride and Prejudice on Press Night (Tuesday 25 June).

Full details can be found on our production pages, but casting includes Jane Asher as Lady Catherine de Bourgh and Rebecca Lacey as Mrs Bennet (Pride and Prejudice) and Olivier nominees Charlotte Wakefield and Michael Xavier as Maria Rainer and Captain Von Trapp (The Sound of Music).

For family fun this summer don’t miss The Winter’s Tale re-imagined for everyone aged six and over (29 Jun – 20 Jul) and the awesome Dinosaur Zoo (9 Aug – 8 Sept).

Sunday events include comedy and music gigs, and film screenings of Shakespeare in Love and Hitchcock’s The Birds

A sell-out at the Edinburgh Fringe 2002 and Melbourne Comedy Festival 2003, Richard Herring’s tenth anniversary update of his critically acclaimed show arrives at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre on 26 May.

This season, we will be holding BREEZE events for all of our productions*, giving BREEZE members the opportunity to network and enjoy a free drink before going in to see the production.

To celebrate William Shakespeare’s birthday, why not introduce our greatest storyteller to a new generation with tickets for The Winter’s Tale re-imagined for everyone aged six and over.

After introducing the characters and locations, the story of a lost princess who is raised by a humble shepherd unfolds using Shakespeare’s original text. Condensed to 2hours (including the interval) and with an emphasis on music, design and movement, our aim is to enchant, entertain and enlighten a younger audience.

A selection of merchandise will also be available to purchase, including the newly published script of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice,
our popular Open Air Theatre Hoodies and the new album recorded by John Wilson and the John Wilson Orchestra, Rodgers and Hammerstein at the Movies.

To celebrate, and to get you in the mood for our new Afternoon Tea that can be pre-booked for performances of Pride and Prejudice, chocolate brownies will also be given to customers who visit us*.

Throughout the season, the box office will then be open daily:

Direct from Australia, Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo will bring their highly acclaimed pre-historic creatures to Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre this summer.

With daytime performances from 9 August – 8 September, and suitable for all ages 3+, discover all about dinosaurs in this entertaining and highly imaginative live show – plus get up close and personal with them on the picnic lawn before you go.

But watch out – not all of these Jurassic giants are as tame as they seem!
